Apps Like MyFitnessPal, But Simpler
MyFitnessPal is built for detailed logging. If that's the part you've had enough of, here are simpler options and how to choose between them.

Which calorie app suits you comes down to how much detail you want to deal with. Some are built for people who like precision and a huge food database. Others cut the process back for people who want the result without the admin. These guides compare them, ours included.
We would rather be straight about this. MyFitnessPal is very good at what it does, and if you want to log thoroughly against the broadest food database around, it is a sensible choice. Plenty of people want exactly that.
The people we built Ori for want something else. Fewer decisions per meal, guidance that moves as they do, and the option not to see the numbers at all. That last one is rare, so it is worth checking for before you pay for anything.
What is actually worth comparing is the database, whether your target updates on its own or sits where it was set at sign-up, and how much of the number-watching you can switch off. The guides below go through the options on those terms.
